How to Be Human Enough to…belong? New blogging community

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! I often think about How to Be Human Enough – not striving for unobtainable perfection but what is authentic for me. I plan to use this blog as a place to explore my exploding thoughts. I often think they are like popcorn kernels jumping up at different times and in different directions. Connected in their container but unconnected in many other ways!

This weekend’s thoughts have ranged from career choices through authentic happiness to making a life and a living at the same time. The authenticity part has been a recurring theme for a long time now, how to be my authentic self while cultivating a feeling of belonging. One I’ve not mastered yet (and maybe never will)

This has led to thoughts that I could create my own. A welcoming, inclusive place where I can be my authentic self and support others to do the same in a way that isn’t just cosplay but actually being human enough.

Human enough for what…? Human enough to…be…do…feel…

Just finding a sense of enough-ness for me in a world that is thriving on external validation. Knowing myself and knowing peace and contentment in my own way, doing my own thing is the goal. I had thought that came from traditional career progression. It would appear that thought was a kernel that exploded too fast and is now catching and burning, threatening to make the whole batch taste odd.

Not sure what’s going to happen next. It’s a bit of an exciting experiment that I’m going to attempt to shoehorn in alongside the life commitments I already have.

I do know that it will be worth it.
